Working three twelve hour shifts (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) at work really does a number on my feet. I am on a concrete floor in print shop, and on my feet 95% of my day.  By the time I get home Saturday night my heels are killing me.  I have tried different boots and sneakers but nothing makes that big of a difference. I have tried different inserts and they help a little, but they seem to move around in my shoe and wear out over time.

I had heard about Kendall GelThotic inserts online a few months ago and they seemed pretty cool.  I was thrilled when I got the chance to test them out for my self.

Kendall Research Systems, Inc. has introduced a silicone orthotic with maximal support and shock absorbency. The Kendall GelThotic, provides optimal therapeutic support and requires less space in the shoe than any other orthotic, thus working in almost any style of shoe. Kendall GelThotics was sold by health practitioners in clinical settings, showing significant reductions in plantar fasciitis, forefoot issues, and more. Carefully engineered for enhanced biomechanical efficiency, it enhances performance through all phases of the gait cycle. In addition to enhancing performance, the GelThotic is water and moisture proof and cannot absorb microbes and odors

At first I couldn’t figure out how exactly I was supposed to get them in my shoe.  I eventually read the instructions and realized the GelThotics went underneath the insert that came with my sneakers.  The first day i noticed  that they felt weird in my shoes – not in a bad way, just different than I had expected.  I definitely noticed the support in my arch. I really felt like the GelThotics was supporting my heel.  I have been wearing the inserts for a few weeks now and love them. My heel pain is just about gone!  One day I wore a different pair of sneakers to work, without inserts,  just to see if I could really feel a difference at the end of the day. By lunch time my heels were already killing me, plus my shins were throbbing.

I love that the GelThotics inserts stay in place – they don’t slide around in your shoe at all. The way the insert is shaped, it really cradles and supports your heel.  The insert uses state-of-the-art shock absorption while keeping the heel low to increase stability without changing the way your shoe fits.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I have extremely high arches and often suffer from foot, ankle, and shin pain because of it. I DESPERATELY need these!

I would love to win this for my husband who has had two surgeries on his foot. It hurts him all the time.
