A few weeks ago I had the chance to review Adovia’s Natural Dead Sea Clay Mask.  I loved it so much, I asked If I could also review their Natural Dead Sea Mud Soap, as well as their new Dead Sea Mud Shampoo.  Look for my shampoo review soon!

Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap with BOxThe Adovia Natural Dead Sea Mud Soap contains a unique combination of Dead Sea minerals derived from Dead Sea Mud. This effective mud soap removes dirt and cleanses your skin, while simultaneously infusing it with minerals essential to keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized.

This soap contains Dead Sea mud, Dead Sea salts, and Lemongrass Essential Oil.   When applied to the skin, Dead Sea mud stimulates and improves blood circulation, and cleanses and softens the skin. It also accelerates the skin’s natural exfoliation process and restores the pH balance of the skin. Another important fact about it is that it contains antimicrobial properties. This makes it particularly effective for psoriasis, eczema, and acne.

This video shows why people go to the Dead Sea not only to experience floating in the waters but also for the healing black mud.

Dead Sea salts have anti-aging and moisturizing benefits. They also help reduce redness and irritations. Just as the Dead Sea mud, the salts also contain a high concentration of minerals which include chloride, magnesium, sodium, calcium, and potassium.

Lemongrass essential oil by itself is a powerful skin ally. It contains two components that contribute to the health of your skin. The first one is citral, which has been found to be an antimicrobial substance. This means it destroys or supresses the growth of microorganisms including bacteria and fungi. The second component is limonene. Research has shown that limonene can reduce inflammation and kill bacteria as well

The Lemongrass gives the soap a slightly citrus scent, but it is barely percievable. This dark brownish green soap lathers up white.  I have combination skin, some parts are super oily, and others are as dry as a desert.  I have found that the more I use this soap, the more it seems to even out.  The amount of moisturizer I have to apply in the morning is dwindling down, since the Dead Sea Mud Soap is leaving my skin feeling moisturized.

I also feel like my pores are starting to tighten up, and any inflammation and redness from blemishes are going away.  I have used this soap on my face as well as the rest of my body and have been very pleased with the results.  This soap, along with the mask, have become part of my regular routine! I can’t wait to try the shampoo!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This is great information. I have combination skin and most products leave my skin dry.

This looks like a great product. I have always heard of the healing properties of this mud but have never used any products with it in it. I look forward to your shampoo review.
