When we reviewed ARM & HAMMER™ Clump & Seal™ Cat Litter we loved how tight it clumped and it quickly became our favorite.  When they released ARM & HAMMER™ Clump & Seal™ MicroGuard™ we were huge fans as well.  We’ve noticed that the MicroGuard tends to be more expensive, so when we see it on sale we stock up!   Now that ARM & HAMMER has released SLIDE  we are thrilled to report that it may be our new favorite litter!  In full disclosure, we were sent some boxes to facilitate a review, but all opinions are our own, and we are not obligated to write a positive review.

At some point during our year off of blogging we moved the home office upstairs to the guest bedroom, and moved the litter boxes out of the laundry room into the old office.  The new litter box room is on the corner of the house, and has two huge windows that are even with the ground.  The two outside walls also have a ledge built in so the cats can easily walk from one window to the other.  The room also has laminate wood flooring, which makes it much easier to clean than the concrete in the laundry room.

Our litter box room set up

I cleaned out one of the litter boxes completely and poured the Arm & Hammer SLIDE in.  I immediately noticed that there was no dust kicking up as  I poured it,  like most other brands of litter. Arm & Hammer Slide Clumping Litter Being Poured in the box

As soon as I had 3-4″ of litter in the box  I set the box down, and was talking to Tony through the window, who was right outside replacing a wheel bearing in my car.  Immediately, Oliver waltzed in, went right to the litter box with the SLIDE in it, and he urinated.  He is really good at covering his business, but I was standing right next to the box, and didn’t smell anything.  Oliver using litter box with Arm & Hammer Slide Clumping Litter

It has been a few days and I can honestly say this is the tightest clumping litter I have used. I even dropped a huge urine clump today and as it fell back into the box, I thought it would break apart, but it didn’t.  Jewel has a tendency to urinate right in the front of the box, and not cover it.  If not scooped right away she will do this in all 4 litter boxes until they all have a “muddy” mess in the front, that is darn near impossible to scoop up.

Withe the Arm & Hammer SLIDE, not only does the urine clump tight, even without Jewel covering it, but it doesn’t stick to the bottom or sides of the litter box – hence the reason I was trying to scoop up a giant urine clump in the first place.

I have three Cats, Infinity Rose who is our oldest, Destiny Iris who is our middle kitty and Harley Classic who is our youngest who will be a year old the 1st of July. This would so help with the littler situation as they have 3 litter boxes but all seem to urinate in the same box and I believe this new litter would help me in that box to keep the odors down. The two oldest are spayed and Harley isn’t neutered yet so his urine is a bit strong right now. I don’t want my guests smelling that odor when they come to visit.

I have three cats – Moko, Arata, and Kotoha. We have three litter boxes and I’m constantly having to scoop them. Having litter that doesn’t stick to the pan would be great! (The comment section isn’t letting me post my own comment – sorry but I had to do it as a response to someone else’s)

We have a five year old tortie named Tao. She is just too funny and has all of the weirdo cat traits, which just makes her more awesome.

What a nice prize! I have 3 very spoiled cats. They are such a big part of my family and we love them all so much. Chester is a 7 year tabby cat , Ryder is a beautiful 7 year old Tuxedo and lastly , Little is a 16 year young tabby cat. They are all very sweet kids. Their days consist of playtime, good food, and lots of attention and sleep. I love my cats and am so glad they are in my life!

We have a total of 7 cats, 5 of them rescues in one form or another. The most recent is a 6 wk old calico kitten that was found in the middle of the road at probably about 2 weeks of age. We were not certain that she would survive, but so far she is doing quite well. She is just now being allowed to wander more, and it is quite a sight to see a Great Dane allowing her to roam around and over her!

My 2 cats, Jackson and Hurley, would benefit from trying this new litter. We already purchase arm & hammer so I’m confident this is also a great product!
