I have always been interested in various meditation and energy-flow philosophies. I have taken Qigong classes as well as various Yoga classes and have loved them. Sadly I haven’t taken any classes or done any on my own recently and I can feel the difference. I feel like my head is going a million miles an hour and I’m achy a lot. I felt so much more relaxed and calm when I was practicing.
I am hoping once we move (*next month YAY*), things will settle down and I will be able to find more time to do yoga, if not, I need to FIND time. In the meantime, I am thrilled that I get to review a Chakra pillow.
Chakra pillows work on balancing the body energy centers (main nerve pathways) called Chakras. The Chakra centers revive and assimilate energy. When these chakras are open and balanced you will experience inner peace and harmony.
All pillows may be used hot (30 seconds to 1minute in the microwave) or cold (place in a freezer bag and place in freezer). The outer cover of the pillow is removable and hand washable. I should also mention how soft the outer cover of the pillow is – It feels very luxurious against my skin.
I was experiencing some cramps when the pillow arrived so I placed it in the microwave for 30seconds and put it on my lower tummy and it did seem to help. The warm felt great and it seemed to retain the heat for a while. Plus the smell is amazing, I know I already mentioned it, but it is worth mentioning again. The smell isn’t overpowering but you can smell each ingredient in the pillow.
I have read that the second chakra also has to do with your kidneys. I have been having some problems lately in that area so any little bit I can do that might help – I’m all for it. I had to go for a bunch of blood tests earlier this week, and have to go back to the doctor next week to go over the results. I will let you guys know what is going on when I know more.
I have also slept with the Chakra pillow on my regular pillow at night. I know the color of the pillow is supposed to be stimulating but, I think the smell of the pillow helps my brain stop thinking about a million things at once, and helps me to relax as I drift off to sleep. Besides, my eyes are closed so I am not seeing the pillow.

Sounds interesting! While I am not into meditation and stuff related to that, I do believe strongly in our body’s electrical field and the effect that the balance being off has on our body. Thanks for the review and for the info!
