#FreeProductReceived We are big snackers in our house so when  I saw the opportunity to have a chance to review some Cheese Thinables for free, I knew I had to take it.

Cheese Thinables are made by FiberGourmet. FiberGourmet is dedicated to creating reduced-calorie, high-fiber products that taste good and are good for you. Their unique FiberGourmet technology allows them to manufacture pasta, crackers and cakes which taste the same as conventional versions but have 10 times more fiber. They even have more fiber than whole wheat! (See comparison chart to the left for details). They use insoluble fiber, which has no calories, which lets them cut the calories in half.

Cheese Thinables Review #FreeProductReceivedThese cheese crackers that look just like Cheese Nips (or Cheez-Its), but with literally half the calories!

  • Cheese cracker taste
  • 11g fiber per package (44% of your Daily Value!)
  • Each package has about 30 crackers
  • Just 60 calories per oz – compare to 140 in Cheeze-Its®
Ingredients: Modified Wheat Starch, Wheat Flour, Wheat Gluten, Palm Oil, Shredded Cheese, Natural Cheese Flavor, Salt, Yeast Extract, Yeast, Lactic Acid, Paprika, Red Pepper, Yellow Mustard Seed, Dough Conditioner (Enzymes). Contains wheat and milk ingredients

And, as always, all of their calorie & fiber numbers are backed up by actual laboratory analysis – see the results here. You can even read their Kosher certificate here.

Cheese Thinables Closeup #FreeProductReceivedI thought the Cheese Thinables weren’t as cheesy as Cheez-Its.  They also were a little crunchier, which I actually liked.  Sometimes when I want a snack, I crave something really crunchy.   Sometimes after a bad day, nothing gives me more satisfaction than crunching my teeth down on a snack.  I am an emotional eater and not afraid to admit it.

I also noticed that my fingers did not get greasy or orange when eating these crackers – something that happens with other brands on occasion.

You  can get a $5 OFF COUPON just by going to to their site and clicking on the facebook “like” icon.  It is in the upper left corner.  The coupon code will appear in a pop-up box after you click the “like” button.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
