Because I am a member of Brand Backer, I was given the chance to review Clarity Vitamin C Serum for Face made by Eu Natural, for free in exchange for my honest review.
This product has the following claims:

  • OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFormulated to Smooth the Skin, Reduce Fine Lines and Wrinkles, and Treat Dark Spots.
  • Potent Antioxidant Blend Featuring Organic Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid, and Herbal Extracts.
  • Stimulate Collagen Production for Radiant and Youthful Looking Skin.

  • Try Clarity risk-free! Backed by our 100% Money Back Guarantee!
  • Made in the USA to Strict FDA Standards by cGMP Certified Laboratory Without Parabens or Alcohol.

The serum contains Vitamin C which stimulates collagen production and improves the elasticity of your skin. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which can repair damage to your skin by neutralizing the effects of free radicals.  Hyaluronic Acid  is a lubricant which can promote healing of damaged skin tissue and also act as a moisturizer.  Another important ingredient in Clarity is Aloe Leaf. Aloe leaf can treat minor skin wounds, and also acts as a moisturizer.

In case you are wondering, despite the fact that “Organic” is the first word listed on the front of the bottle, this product is only 72% Organic, and only 98% Naturally derived, which is found on the back of the bottle.  Now for me thats not a big deal, but I know there are those out there who only like to use completely organic or natural products.

Natural and Organic Claims

The Clarity Vitamin C Serum arrived with a regular cap on it, plus a dropper style cap.  I like that they give you the option to use whichever you prefer.  I was afraid of using too much, so I used the dropper cap so I could control how much I was using at a time.

Clarity Vitamin C SerumThis serum has a faint scent to it.  I had imagined it would smell like citrus because of the vitimin C but It didn’t.  Its hard to describe the scent, it doesnt really smell like anything in particular, and the scent goes away once it is absorbed into your skin.
I was surprised that this serum was cloudy in color, but I have never tried a Vitamin C Serum before, so perhaps they are all like that.

The Clarity Vitamin C Serum went on smoothly and absorbed fast into my skin without leaving any oily residue behind.

Since I have been only using this product a week, It is hard to tell if it has made any difference in the fine lines, and the few dark spots I have on my face,.

Thank you for the information. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to use it, but it’s good to know 🙂 Btw, what does ‘organic’ mean, in this context. If something is only 72% organic, does that mean only 72% of the compounds contain carbon? The serum is 72% carbon? Labeling can be weird sometimes.

I know labels can be misleading, but I am not really sure what each term means for labeling purposes. I figured I would include it in the post so people would at least be aware. I guess I have some research to do!

Products made entirely with certified organic ingredients and methods can be labeled “100% organic,” while only products with at least 95% organic ingredients may be labeled “organic.” Both of these categories may also display the USDA Organic seal.

A third category, containing a minimum of 70% organic ingredients, can be labeled “made with organic ingredients,” but may not display the USDA Organic seal. In addition, products may also display the logo of the certification body that approved them.

Which is very confusing because this product is only 72% organic says organic on the label but according to the info I found, It should say “made with organic ingredients”.

My guess is, the way it is labeled they want you to think all ingredients are organic, but probably only the Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid are. There is no information about being natural, nor organic on their website.

I love serums for the face! Maybe there’s a way to make a homemade serum with your own essential oils and a carrier…hmm…definitely worth looking into. I’ve never thought about vitamin c for the skin. Thanks for sharing!
