After working with DreamSpa through IP Showers in the past, they asked if I was interested in doing another review, for free for them.  This time I got to review the DreamSpa® 12″ Rainfall Shower Head With Color-Changing LED Temperature.

Like the DreamSpa® All-Chrome Water Temperature Color-Changing LED 5 Function Shower Head, this showerhead has a Built-in water temperature sensor and an LCD display changes color with water temperature:

o DreamSpa® 12" Rainfall Shower Head With Color-Changing LED Temperature Display BLUE: Cool (below 95° F)
o GREEN: Warm (95° F-109° F)
o RED: Hot (109° F-122° F)
o FLASHING RED: Warning (above 122° F)

However, the DreamSpa® 12″ Rainfall Shower Head With Color-Changing LED Temperature also includes a large lighted LED/LCD display screen that indicates water temperature.  I personally find 107° F to be the most comfortable.

This is a great feature if you have elderly parents in your home, who may be ability impaired in judging how hot water actually is. I know NY state mandates that shower water in Adult care facilities remain between 90-110° F, so it is probably a good idea to check the water temperature for older members of your family.

This showerhead also features an elegant 12″ curved fan design for perfect shoulder-to-shoulder flow coverage and 123 rub-clean jets for drenching high-power rainfall shower experience. The showerhead attaches to the Shower Arm with a Ball joint, so you can swivel the showerhead any which way you desire.  The Long-life LED lights should last 100,000 hours (10+ years) of daily use.

I love that it has a wide spray, so I feel as though my whole body, shoulder to shoulder is encompassed in the spray. I do wish the spray was a little “harder” though. It’s not a big deal as the showerhead has “Rainfall” in the name for a reason.

As mandated by U.S. federal law, this shower is equipped with a water flow regulator, that limits maximum water flow to 2.5 gallons per minute at 80 psi water pressure. If you have extremely low water pressure in your house, you can remove the regulator.

Included in the box was plumbers tape in case the washer fails and you have a leak.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from the Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
