The Earth Pan by Ozeri is perfect for browning ground beef
Recently I was given the oppoutunity to review a 10″ Stainless Steel Earth Pan by Ozeri for free, in exchange for an honest review. Tony was excited about this review because our other frying pans weren’t really non–stick anymore, and the Earth Pan by Ozeri features Eterna – a safe and natural non-stick coating that was developed right here in the USA.
This pan is the worlds only stainless steel frying pan to achieve non-stick perfection without using PFOA — a harmful chemical used in all traditional cookware.Conventional pans achieve their non-stick performance with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a ‘persistent pollutant of the environment’.
According to the EPA, once ingested PFOA is capable of remaining in people for a very long time, and has been shown to cause developmental and other adverse effects in laboratory animals. I was worried when I was browning sausages up in the pan because some stuff seemed stuck to the pan, but low and behold, it wiped clean with a sponge.

I was browning up some italian sausages to make sauce, and without even thinking, I grabbed the handle of the pan and dumped the sausages into the sauce. I was shocked to realize my hand was NOT burning, that the handle was actually room temperature. With some of our other pans, they have plastic handles, and they still get hot enough that you need a pot holder to move them.
