Emery Cat
You have probably seen the commercials for the Emery Cat Board or seen it in stores like Walmart.  If you are like me, you were probably wondering, “Would my cat really even use it?”.  Since Jewel likes to scratch our front door mat and one (but only 1) of the scratching posts I hoped she would use this too. I finally broke down after Christmas and got her one.
Luckily for me, Jewel LOVES it. She uses it quite frequently, and has worn it out in a few spots as you can see from the pictures!

When I got it, it just came with a replacement emery board and two packages of catnip.  As you can tell, it is pretty close to needing to be replaced but I am thinking I will try to wait until we move next month. Jewel goes crazy for any catnip which is probably what first attracted her to the Emery Cat Board.

We have the Emery Cat Board right on the corner of where the hallway and the living room meet, so she is constantly scratching it before she enters or leaves the room.
Harley doesn’t even have front claws but has always loved “scratching” things since we got him. Cats have scent glands in their paws so he is probably just trying to mark his territory. He uses the Emery Cat Board, but not as much as Jewel.I should mention that Harley (AKA Tubby) weighs in at just under 15lbs and it supports his weight just fine.
When the replacement board is used up, I will definitly be getting another one.  The Emery Cat Board works a lot better than other cardboard cat scratchers I have found because the top is coated with the same type of material that is on emery board for humans. I have read reviews were others have complained that the material has made a mess, but it falls through the cardboard into the brown base (along with some of the catnip), so I just dump that every so often. The sides of the brown base are as high as the cardboard so the cardboard won’t just fall out unless your cat was somehow able to turn it  sideways.

Right now on their website for $19.95 plus $7.95 P&H you can get :
  • Emery Cat Board
  • Package of catnip
  • Cat Toy (I believe this is the feather you see in my pictures)
  • cat De-Shedder
When you pay just another $7.95 for  P&H you also get the following items FOR FREE:
  • Another Emery Cat Board
  • Another Cat Toy
  • Another cat De-Shedder

If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, simply return it within 30 days for a full

product refund (Less P&H).

My cats don’t have claws, but they still like to “scratch” and rub all over scratchers laced with catnip 🙂 Loved the pics!

Oh wow! My sister has 2 cats and could use this! I don’t think they have started scratching her furniture yet but that is probably coming! I will have to tell her about this! Thanks!

This would be perfect for my neighbor. Her cat has started scratching the furniture, and she’s getting really frustrated. I will tell her about this product, and hopefully it helps.

HD television provides clearer pictures with excellent sound quality, a wider viewing screen
and up-to-date scanning. On or off, LCD HDTV’s are excessively amazing to look at. So, when we are using Vo – IP, we need to ensure that not only we have the bandwidth, but also that we have enough priority network packets assigned to our Vo – IP line to get rid of any Vo – IP immediately, and dropped calls.
