Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I know Argan oil is starting to appear in many hair care products, but I was always afraid that It would leave my hair too greasy.  My scalp tends to get very oil, but my ends are very dry due to too much heat styling.  When I saw that Foxbrim was looking for bloggers to review their 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil, for free,  I decided I should look to see if their were any other uses for Argan Oil.   I learned that it is lightweight and easily absorbs into skin, hair and nails. My hands have been really dry due to this ridiculously long winter we have been having, and my nails were really brittle.   I decided to give the 100% Pure Argan Oil by Foxbrim (Amazon Affiliate Link) a shot.

Foxbrim Argan oil ingredients list

Foxbrim’s 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil is the pure and totally natural solution to your skin and hair problems! It is certified USDA Organic and as another measure of it’s purity, it has a unique Eco Cert certification number.  There are no preservatives, chemicals or artificial fragrances used.

When it first arrived I was very nervous because what was in the bottle was a solid.  I then realized that it was probably riding around in the USPS truck all day, and it was below freezing out.  Once it got to room temperature it has remained a liquid.

The argan oil leaves my nails and hands with shine, but they aren’t greasy.  It sounds hard to believe, but if you were to try it you would see what I mean.  Some women actually use Argan oil on their face because it leaves them with a dewy, luminous glow.  I haven’t tried it by itself on my face yet though.  I have done some more research and have learned that due to its  high content of anti–inflammatory components such as anti-oxidants and vitamin E, Argan oil soothes inflammation and blemishes naturally.  Argan oil has proven to be efficient in healing a number of skin disorders associated with sensitive skin such as: acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and rosacea.I am really going to have to try it on my face I might be over 30, but I am still dealing with blemishes!

Foxbrim argan oil dropLike I mentioned earlier, I was nervous to use it on my hair because I thought it would be too greasy.  I had read that many women apply it in the shower, either mixing it into their shampoo and/or conditioner or just applying it by itself and letting it soak in for a little while before rinsing it.  I decided to wash my hair with my normal shampoo and then skip conditioner and just use the Argan Oil in place of the conditioner.  I let my hair air dry and it was really soft and shiny.   I have done that a few times and have been pleased with the same results.  Today I got adventurous and after straightening my hair, I applied two drops of the oil to my palms and worked it through the ends of my hair.  Much to my surprise, my hair wasn’t greasy in the least bit. It was soft and shiny (even though heat styling usually leaves my hair dull!).

One of my favorite places to use the Foxbrim Argan oil is my lips! It leaves them feeling soft and moisturized for much longer than lip balms.  You can also add the Argan oil to your face cream, facial mask, body lotion, foundations… just about anything!

Foxbrim stands behind their all-natural products with a 90 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, send it back for a full refund. No questions asked.
