We have been trying to eat healthier lately (isn’t everyone though?). We stopped eating fast food as much, we don’t keep much junk food in the house. I of course still craved sweets and was only eating them while I was at work. Luckily, I got the chance to review Macaroons from Hail Merry, a woman owned business in Dallas, TX. Their macarooons are gluten-free and vegan. They also do not contain any refined sugars and are full of fiber! The also offer the health benefits of raw coconut oil.

Here are some more facts about these Macaroons:
•Sweetened with maple syrup offering superior flavor and high vitamin/mineral payload.
•Shredded coconut has twice the fiber of rolled oats.
•Chocolate version adds mood lift.
•Dehydrated rather than baked makes these taste like cookie dough – very moist.
•Made with coconut oil which melts at 76 degrees so deliciously chewy at room temp
•Made without egg whites

All that healthy stuff is great, but the real question is, do they taste good? The answer is absolutly. I was pretty skeptical that something so healthy couldnt be that tasty. I actually expected the cookies to be really dry. Much to my surprise they really were moist! I tried the blonde Macaroons first and liked how they seemed to almost melt in my mouth. They were sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth!

Next I tried the chocolate ones. Now these were REALLY good. They weren’t as moist and soft as the blonde, but they were still a lot softer than a regular cookie. These definitly satisfied my sweet tooth! I could have eaten the whole bag in one sitting but I wanted to let Tony try, and have some for another time. Tony though the blonde was just ok. Im not sure he liked how soft they were. He thought the chocolate ones were a lot better!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
