One of my best friends from high school had asked me to be a bridesmaid last spring. I was so nervous because I had never been one before, plus I live in the opposite corner of the state. She lives in Queens, I live in a suburb of Rochester, NY. The big day finally came this past Saturday, after having to be rescheduled due to Hurricane Sandy. The weather was cold, but clear, sunny skies. Here are some pictures I have of the wedding from my camera. I can’t wait to see what the professional ones look like!
Do you have a photo you would like to link up?
Looks like fun to me.
I remember the first time I was a bridesmaid. I was nervous, things were chaotic but it was so much fun! Glad you had a good time. You look so graceful for a person who was freezing 🙂
Aww, you look beautiful! That’s always such a special event!
You looked beautiful!! Love you hair!
Diane, I’ve never been a bridesmaid, but you were a stunning one! Would you do it all over again? I love your hairdo, by the way. I’m not talented when it comes to styling long hair, but I know how to add a bow or hairpiece to it any day! LOL
We had professionals come in to do our hair and makeup. Im not good with either so I thought it was worth the money for them to do it!
I love the colors of the bridesmaids dresses! And your hair was so pretty!!
Thank you!
That’s so wonderful! My sister is nine years older than me and the first time I was a Brides maid I was ten. Yes she got married young. Thanks for sharing!
