For all those who think cats hate water…
I present to you Harley, willingly taking a bath.
For whatever reason, he has never been scared of the water. He has loved stomping his paw in his water bowl since he was a kitten!
He has been known to jump in the tub when someone is trying to take a relaxing bath (Ahem ME). He peeks his head around the shower curtain when you are showering. We have to warn guests to make sure the door clicks shut or he will come barging in no matter why you are in there. He also has a fondness for watching people brushing their teeth. I think he just likes the minty smell.
Harley tends to carry all his weight in his rear end which makes it hard for him to express his glands back there due to all the fat. At least thats how his vet explained it. So sometimes when he gets really excited / scared he leaks a little bit. And it stinks. And he knows it, so he will usually just start trotting to the bathroom, waiting for us to give him a bath.

I have NEVER seen a cat that likes water!!
Cute – one of those small percentage of cats that seem to enjoy water. I used to have a cat that enjoyed jumping in the shower to play in the puddles, but never saw a cat that gets into a full tub like that.
Weird! Never seen a cat like water!
That’s crazy. I have a dog that loves water..we turn the sprinkler on in the summer time to let him play in it 🙂 now following from todays hop. Join me at undeserving grace when you get a chance!
