Get ready for stress-free baking and scrub-free cleaning with this wonderful silicone muffin pan that I got to review by OvenArt Bakeware. The OvenArt Silicone Bakeware – Muffin Pan / Cupcake Pan (Affiliate link) promises even, non stick baking, and an easy clean up.

I noticed that this Silicon pan is relatively “floppy”. That is because  because OvenArt Bakeware opts for a silicone that is free of cheaper, plastic filler material — sturdiness in a silicone pan almost always comes from the addition of plastic fibres!

I had a box of Cinnamon Swirl bread, that had a recipie on it for muffins, I had been dying to make so I figured it was a great chance to try out the OvenArt Bakeware Silicone Muffin Pan

Harley REALLY wanted a taste before the muffins were baked

To accommodate for the floppiness, I simply placed a cookie sheet underneath the silicone muffin pan before I put the pan in the oven.

OvenArt recommends lightly greasing the cups of the muffin pan but I forgot to, and my muffins still came out great!  I did have to add 2 minutes to the cooking time which was no big deal.

My muffins were easily popped out by pushing up from the bottom of the cup. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Once they cooled a little, which only took a few minutes, it was time to ice my cinnamon swirl muffins!

As you can see, I am no expert decorator, but thats ok, I just wanted to hurry up and finish so I could try one!

They were absolutely delicious! The house smelled wonderful too!

One thing I hate about cooking is the clean up.  I hate soaking and scrubbing anything, so I really appreciate how easy it was the clean this muffin pan. With just a little dish soap and a soft sponge, it wiped clean very quickly.

This high quality muffin pan is protected by the OvenArt “Better Muffin” Guarantee for lifetime assurance against defects and performance issues.  Popular metal bakeware is treated with non-stick coatings containing perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), a labeled a toxic carcinogen by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  I feel confident cooking with this OvenArt Bakware Silicon Muffin pan that no chemicals are leaking into my food.
