FreeProductForReview Pan Stock ImageKnowing how much I loved the Stainless Steel Earth Pan, and the Blood Pressure Monitor that I got to review previously, Ozeri offered to send me their 8″ Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Panfor free in exchange for an honest review!

Greblon LogoUnlike other ceramic pans the Ozeri Green Earth Pan utilizes GREBLON – an ultra-safe ceramic coating from Germany which is 100% PTFE and PFOA free. This pan has a unique, innovative textured surface that claims to deliver enhanced heat distribution, and superior non-stick performance.  It does this all without releasing harmful fumes or toxins.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWith me working 12 hour shifts, and us doing holiday shopping we haven’t made a ton of meals with it – yet, but we have cooked up some sausages and meatballs in it.  We had never cooked in pan with a textured bottom and were curious what effect it would have.  The sausages and meatballs all cooked up evenly , even after multiple batches! We are having family over for dinner this weekend, and have been doing a lot of prep work!

The pan has a scratch-resistant 100 percent ceramic coating that makes it really easy to wipe clean. The handle is made of a heat-resistant silicon coated handle which makes cooking so much easier.  When we needed to drain the grease off the sausage and meatballs, there was no need to search for a potholder, we just picked the pan right up. This small pan does have some weight to it – I can tell it won’t warp anytime soon. I also love that it is green – All our other pans are silver or black, so this adds a nice pop of color!
