Packaways is a brand new Storage Box that ships and stores in the flat position. When needed, simply press on opposing corners and the bottom “Automatically” folds into place and locks. When not in use, simply press on the bottom and the box folds back down flat for easy, out of the way storage. I wish I had these when I was in college. I used to fill up my moms van at the beginning of each school year with boxes so I could move into the dorms again. Then since I had no room for the boxes, I would throw them out, and have to find more to pack up my stuff to move out at the end of the year!
Packaways are ideal for homes, apartments or living quarters where use is intermittent and space is tight. They offer a variety of colors so you can even color code your stuff. Perhaps keep all your christmas decorations in the Green boxes, School supplies in the pink etc..
Even if you purchase different sizes, the Classic PackAways have the same footprint (length and width), only the height varies in the sizes. So they stack neatly, efficiently and safely on top of one another. No more leaning towers. I realized the Classic Packaways would be perfect to organize our hall closet. I had so many bags and winter accessories just thrown in there that everything kept falling out!
Packaways sent me 2 Classic Packaways to review: a green 16 gallon (21-1/2 L x 13-3/4 W x 12-3/4 H) and a pink 12 gallon (21-1/2 L x 13-3/4 W x 9-3/8 H).
We have snow pants and a lot of winter gear for going to Buffalo Bills games, so the 16 gallon ended up working out perfect for all our winter stuff!

I know sometimes it is hard to visualize how big something is based on dimensions you read so I took this picture below to help you out.
I’m 5’11” and the tote almost comes up to my knee.
The pink 12 gallon box was the perfect size for all my purses, bags, grocery totes and backpacks.
Of course Oliver decided the box was his and wanted to be in the picture as well.
I love how sturdy the boxes are. Neither box was filled to the top, yet they did not collapse when the kitties laid on them!
Harley is on the green Packaway and he weighs about 15 lbs. Oliver is on the pink one, and he weighs about 12 lbs
Since all the classic Packaways have the same footprint, they really do stack perfectly! Plus the happen to be the same width as how much the right side of the closet opens so I can easily slide them in and out if I need to get something!
They fit perfectly in the closet!

I love that these boxes are made in the U.S.A. Another great feature is the that each box has 2 panels that allow you to write the contents of the box on them. If you use Dry Erase Markers you can simply wipe away the previous message and remark the box!
