I was recently given the opportunity to review Brilliant Lenses. Brilliant Lenses is a premium eyeglass cleaner with SR-8 that adds a protective barrier to lenses to resist scratches and soiling from water, sweat, dust and dirt.
My sample came with Brilliant Lenses Cleaner, optical microfiber cloth and a small bag to store them in!
My skin is generally pretty oily and I always end up getting smudges on my lenses and on the part that sits on my nose. I have a lens cleaner that my eye doctor gave me but even when I use it, it takes a while to get my glasses clean. On Tony’s sunglasses it only seams to smear the smudges more – we actually have used dish soap on Tony’s sunglasses because it works better then the stuff my eye doctor gave me!
I was actually pleasantly surprised with how well Brilliant Lenses could clean my glasses. Just a spray on each side of the lens and a gentle wiping of it off with the provided cloth and my lenses were crystal clear – just like the first day I bought them. I then went on a cleaning spree and did 3 pairs of my sunglasses! They all came out super clean! No smudges at all! I really like how it adds a scratch resistant coating to the lenses too. My sunglasses are always just thrown in my bag and often end up getting tiny scratches in them. Luckily I don’t spend that much on them so its not that big of a deal but now I don’t have to worry about it!
