All dogs and cats share a connection with their wolf and big cat ancestors. So the best way to care for your pet is to cater to their instinctual needs with the protein-rich diet they are hardwired to eat. The CRAVE brand makes it simple for pet owners to incorporate a high-protein, ancestral diet into their pets’ lives.
CRAVE is a new brand of dog and cat food crafted to nourish pets through high-protein, meat-first, grain-free recipes – like the diets of their wolf and wildcat ancestors – providing nutrients for a strong, lean body and energy to chase. Offered at both pet specialty stores and mass retailers at a competitive price, the CRAVE™ brand makes it simple for pet owners to incorporate a high-protein, ancestral diet into their pets’ lives.

Proteins are essential nutrients used to promote muscle development, aid in digestion, provide energy and support healthy immune systems in all animals. During digestion, the body breaks down dietary protein into amino acids. Different species have different daily requirements for amino acids. Cats need more protein than dogs or humans.
We were lucky enough to receive some samples of the Chicken Paté for our cats to try, free of charge.
I was happy to see that the first 5 ingredients were: Chicken, Chicken Liver, Pork Broth, Chicken Broth, Chicken Heart. Each side of the two pack has the best by date on it – the ones we have are stamped 4/09/2019 so they don’t go bad for a long time.I found it a little hard to tear open the package, but it wasn’t a huge deal. The serving suggestion is 4 packs a day for an 8lb cat. Each pack is 1.32oz. We feed our cats twice a day, so for dinner, I gave each cat 2 packs.
All 3 cats seemed to really enjoy the food. Harley usually eats half, walks away to clean himself and then comes back to finish. With CRAVE Harley at all his in one sitting! Jewel and Oliver each took a break about half way through, but they both finished their food as well.
The suggested retail price for CRAVE™ products ranges from $11.99-$44.99 (4 and 22lb bags) for dry dog food, $7.49-$32.99 (2-10lb bags) for dry cat food, $1.19-$13.99 (twin pack, multipacks) for wet cat food. The price is on par with other Grain-Free brands, and the twin packs of wet food are about the same as another brand of cat food that offers twin packs.
CRAVE food can be found in-store or online at major retailers such as Amazon, Chewy, Walmart*, Kroger, Meijer, Target, Ahold, PetSmart, and more.
*All CRAVE products available at Walmart.com; CRAVE cat products (wet and dry) available in Walmart stores.
