A while back when I was first diagnosed with Raynauds I did a lot of poking around on raynauds.org. On their website, they have a section for products and sponsors that support Raynauds sufferers. They mention that “While the evaluation process is not clinically-based or scientific in nature, they are tested by real Raynaud’s sufferers for their benefit in real-life situations. Products have not been tested nor regulated by the FDA.”

I would spend a lot of time reading about the different products but was always hesitant to take the plunge and actually spend money on something that I wasn’t sure I really needed. Over time I started buying things here and there and have found some products I really love.

One of those things is the ValueRays Mouse Hand Warmer. Tony got it for me as a Christmas gift last year and I love it. The fingers on my right hand would often start to hurt and get really cold when I am on the computer for a long time – even when it was warm out. Being able to stick my hand in a warm, soft mini blanket definitely helps. The blanket connects to your computer with a USB cord. Infrared heat is generated by the heating element and contained inside the blanket. It doesn’t get super-hot but it definitely gets warm enough that you can feel the heat.

The bottom of the blanket has non-skid bumps on it so it doesn’t slide all over your desk.

The only negative I have found that is sometimes it can be difficult to get your hand in and out of the blanket if you are switching from typing to using the mouse a lot – but it hasn’t stopped me from using it!

If you click on one of my links and decide to purchase the product, I may be compensated because I am an Amazon Associate. I only review products that I have personally tested and used in my home, and all opinions expressed are my own.

Interesting! I’ve never heard of this. I have mild Raynaud’s and I’ve never really been able to find anything to help me. Thanks for the info!

Interesting post. I don’t know if I actually have Raynauds, however, I have poor circulation and my hands are extremely sensitive to the cold. I will have to look into the ValueRays Mouse Hand Warmer.
