If you have been around here a while, you know I am a sucker for a nice hot bath. I can just soak, and smell the relaxing sent of whatever salts I have added and let my mind forget about everything else.
That is until one of the cats comes barreling in and lays on the edge of the tub watching me, but thats besides the point.
I was thrilled when Simply Bath Salts sent me a 24oz bag of their Lavender bath salts! I was honestly expecting a much smaller bag!
Simply Bath Salts works hard to insure that simplicity is behind every decision they make. Their packaging, for example – is not only recyclable, but cost extremely effective. They use that savings to exclusively source certified organic scents and oils in all of their natural bath salt blends. They never test on animals, and all products are made in the USA!
Did you know that many other bath salts may include synthetic toxins that get absorbed by the skin and remain in the body? Simply Bath Salts uses organic ingredients because they are environmentally friendly, produced without pesticides. Their oils are steam distilled from plants and herbs, their salts all left in their pure state. Taking a look at the ingredient list, it was short, with no weird, hard to pronounce chemicals.
Salts ordered through the Simply Bath Salts website are individually hand packaged with a ‘created on’ date stamped on the product label. Salts, of course, stay fresh for eons, but the scent of essential oils can degrade over time. For that reason, salts and scents are not combined until your order is placed. I thought it was really cool to see the date it was packed on the label!
Speaking of fragrant – they have lots of different scents to choose from, or they can create a custom blend for no additional cost. They can even help advise you on what scents work well together!
Like I mentioned earlier, I was sent the Lavender scent to review. Romantic Lavender oil is said to be balancing and calming while organic Jojoba oil offers an all natural source of vitamin E. Both of these oils are Oregon Tilth certified organic to ensure no pesticides or chemicals make it into your bath. I love lavender scented bath products, and this did not disappoint. The bath salts dissolved pretty quick and I was able to enjoy the scent and relax for a while. My skin didn’t feel greasy or dry when I got out. The bath salt seems to have the perfect combination of ingredients!
