We all know that, when any giant software like Google decides to kill down one of its products, then the product must be doing badly. However, that’s not our focus right now. Why will you Miss Google reader even if you never really used it? Here are some reasons why.

Google Reader Features

When Google launched the Google Reader, it modeled similar blog lines after which it gradually added so many features. As a matter of fact, there is hardly any feed aggregator which has been better than Google Reader. A lot of people use Google Reader just to keep tab on their preferred websites, ranging from blogs to news sites. With all these features, and the gradual growth in Google, it is evident that many, including those who knew very little of it, will miss Google Reader.

Huge Worldwide Popularity

Maybe Google Reader has not been gaining numbers, but the little who spent time on it know well what a good friend it could be. Life with Google Reader felt free and easy for many. The news of its closure came as a shock to many and others even thought it was a hoax. It was and still is so hard for a lot of people to admit that Google Reader is indeed gone!

Loyalty to the Format

Google Reader still lives within many of us. Most of us are very serious about wanting it back because through the years we developed some form of loyalty to the RSS. The reason why it is dead is out of question; given the fact that a lot of people are crying out and demanding for it, only shows that Google trader is missed a lot. As a matter of fact, rushing to find other substitutes for Google Reader has not yet yielded any fruits. The reader is being demanded and those that demand for it are dead serious! Evidence that even those who did not use it quite often do miss it!

It is a Major Piece of the Puzzle

The question is not all about us or many internet users missing The RSS. Google Reader is a major piece of Google as a whole and pulling it out of the puzzle only makes it incomplete. The demise of Google Reader has come as a shock to many and it has only succeeded in driving people out of Google. A lot of people will opt for the rivals of Google and this will result in Google losing its market. ljust want to let you know that some of us spend most of our time on the Google Reader and hanging around without the RSS is not going to be hard.

It is a Home Of Detail

I call it a home of detail because unlike other RSS feeds where you feel like you just joined a club, Google Reader is all about filling up your bookcase. If you wanted to start something, review or organize yourself; then Google Reader was the place for you. It kept a record of what you intended to do and reminded you of your commitments.

Google Reader will be missed by many; even by those who never used it.
