The creators of JORD watches wanted to design a watch that would take people back to nature and away from todays metal and rubber. They also wanted to create a watch that could become a focal point for fashion. They decided to create watches made from sustainable, diverse woods from all over the world. Due to the nature of the wood chosen for each unique timepiece, colors and grain pattern may, so two watches are never the same.
JORD watches are considered to be splash proof. Normal wear and use can include kitchen activities, a day on the beach, the gym, etc. However, full submergence in water is not recommended both for the integrity of the movement and the wood itself.
