Don’t Your Pets Deserve Special Care?

From the moment you meet your new best friend to the days when they’re old and gray, you are there for them.  Isn’t it important to give them the special care they deserve?

I recently found out about a new company called Herbsmith. Herbsmith was founded by holistic veterinarian Dr. Chris Bessent because she wanted to help more pets than she could possibly work with on a daily basis. Herbsmith sets out to educate and inspire pet parents to consider holistic approaches that work alongside standard treatments. From supplements to treats, they are striving to be a part of the changing conversation on our pets’ health and offer a simple solution!

Herbsmith is a proud member of the National Animal Supplement Council.  All NASC members are required to undergo a rigorous independent audit of their facilities. Upon completion of this audit, members are then able to display the NASC Seal of Quality to show consumers they are committed to the “highest current standards of quality in the industry today.”.

 

We were lucky enough to receive two bags of treats to try, for free. Harley and Oliver got try try both the Chicken and Salmon freeze dried treats and loved every bite!

I love that their treats are all limited- or single-ingredient and made of real grocery-grade foods, making them a healthy, yet tasty reward for your pet. They only use clean proteins from the states in our treats: beef from Wisconsin, duck from Indiana, Salmon from Alaska etc. They use meats that are human-grade.

 

 

It is hard to get good pictures or video of my boys eating these treats because they gobble them up so fast!  I feel more comfortable giving these treats to my cats than I do with some other brands of treats because each of the flavors we received only had one ingredient – the protein. There wasn’t any fillers or dyes.
