One thing I noticed is that It looks like both cat formulas are for cats ages 1-10, So if you have older kitties, this may not be the best food for them. They told us Jewel was about 3 when we adopted her, which would make her 10 now, but we feel she is actually older than we originally thought. She seems to do better when we give her cat food formulated for senior kitties. This past November 13th marked 10 year since we adopted Harley as a kitten, but he still runs around and plays with Oliver as if they were the same age. Oliver is about 4 years old.
We primarily feed our cats wet food due to weight issues but we always keep dry food in the house to give them as a snack or when we know we are going to be gone all day and would miss their regular meal time.

I really think my cats would enjoy the Purina Pro Plan SAVOR Adult Shredded Blend Chicken & Rice Formula Cat Food. It has both crunchy kibble and meaty, shredded pieces.
