As you probably know by now, we frequently partner with Chewy.com to review new products for our cats.  This month we got to review Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Variety Pack Grain-Free Cat Food Pouches, 3-oz, case of 12. for free.

They have such fun names, we couldn’t resist!

Chick Magnet – (Chicken and Mackerel)
Love Me Tender – (Chicken, Tuna, and  Duck)
Mack Jack & Sam – (Salmon, Mackerel, and Tuna)
Pumpkin Jack Splash – ( Tuna, Pumpkin)
Pumpkin Lickin’ Chicken – (Chicken, Pumpkin)
1 If By Land, 2 If By Sea- (Tuna, Beef, and Salmon)

We are still taking care of Tony’s moms cat, Patches.  She will probably only be here another week or two, because Tony’s mom is making great progress now that she is home from rehab.  In case you missed it in our previous posts, Tony’s mom was in a car accident and broke both ankles.  When Patches is at her home, she is an only cat, so her mom can leave food down for a few hours knowing nobody is going to eat it on Patches.  At our house, Harley and Oliver are always trying to see what else they can eat, and are all to willing to steal Patches food if she walks away.  We rotate Patches food frequently so she never knows what she is going to get and it seems to keep her more interested.

The first flavor we gave her out of the Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Variety Pack was Pumpkin Jack Splash.

Patches Loved it! It has the right amount of gravy to meat chunks mixture for her.  Patches doesn’t have many teeth left so she has trouble eating large pieces of meat, but these were the perfect size for her

We were told by her mom that Patches only ate a specific brand of Pate canned food, but we are finding out she loves pouches of food with a soup/gravy mixture!  Some days she refuses fish flavors, and other days she refuses poultry flavors, so I try to put her bowl down first to see if she will eat it, and if not, I give it to one of the boys, and give her a different type of protein.  The boys seem to love all the flavors so they don’t mind.

Be sure to check out all the great pet products Chewy.com offers!  We order cat litter online so we don’t have to lug the big boxes in and out of the car, throw in a couple cases of food and it is easy to qualify for free shipping!
