FreeProductForReviewWith three cats who shed, this has been a long winter for us.  No matter how much we comb the cats, there seems to be cat hair on everything. When Eureka asked us if we wanted the chance to review their new Eureka AirSpeed EXACT Pet, we said yes without hesitation.

Unpacking the Eureka Air Speed Exact Pet The upright bagless vacuum is especially created for pet households thanks to several special features:

  • It is equipped with patented AirSpeed Technology that gives you a confident clean, so you can take on whatever life throws at you.
  • Based on independent testing, Eureka AirSpeed EXACT Pet cleans carpets better than the Dyson DC40.

  • Unlike most other vacuums, Eureka AirSpeed EXACT Pet’s AirSpeed Technology uses an efficient floor-to-cup airpath with limited twists and turns that decreases the distance dust needs to travel and increases airflow, providing maximum suction power.
  • The PET Power Paw® Turbo Nozzle removes pet hair from carpet and upholstery. Plastic teeth loosen it, rubber strip grabs it and bristles remove it.
  • The vacuum’s suction control valve lets you direct all of the power to the floors or to the tools, so you can deep clean to stairs, furniture and crevices.
  • With a unique Smooth-Glide pivoting base, the Eureka AirSpeed EXACT Pet is easy to push across carpets – while providing a superior, deep clean.
  • An on-board crevice tool and PET dusting brush with plastic teeth grab pet hair from hard to reach areas.
  • The high-efficiency allergen filter helps to eliminate 99 percent of dust and allergens.

Eureka Air Speed Exact Pet Vacuum, Crushed Cereal Test

This particular model of Eureka vacuum is exclusive to Walmart.

Eureka asked me to show you some  real-life cleaning challenges so you can see how it holds up.

If you have kids, or are just a klutz like me, I’m sure you have had to clean up something crunchy that has been stepped on and ground into your carpet.  I decided to spill some cereal on the carpet, step on it, and then walk around on it to really break it up and get it into the carpet good.

Since all of our cats like to sleep on our couch, and that is where I primarily brush them, I figured the couch would be a great place to show you how well the PET Power Paw® Turbo Nozzle can pick up pet hair.  I know sometimes you get a vacuum that works great on carpets, and the tools stink, and don’t have the same suction power. This vacuum did a great job cleaning our couch!

I also cleaned our carpeted stairs using some of the other accessories included with the vacuum.  The cat hair seems to always get stuck along the edges and it is SO hard to clean out.  It was actually disturbing how much cat hair it picked up! I didn’t think the stairs were that bad!

Since I was on a roll with the cleaning, I decided to use a different accessory to clean one of our cat beds.  The bottom of this bed is fleece and the cat’s hair seems to cling to it year round, and it is worse in the winter.   The tool did a great job brushing the bed, and getting all their hair lose, and sucked up!

As you can see from the videos, the Eureka Airspeed Exact Pet Vacuum does a great job picking up pet hair from carpets as well as other places your pets might lay!  We love our new vacuum and recommend it to anyone with pets that shed!

Eureka wants to give two of your a Eureka Airspeed Exact Pet Vacuum of your own!

We have an indoor cat and an outdoor dog. Of course, the cat’s hair is inside. But, the dog’s hair ends up inside too.

I have two beautiful kitties named Neko & Freya. It has been such a horrible winter, and their shedding has been in large proportions! I’m going to have to seriously consider this vacuum. Thanks for sharing!

My dog is staying with my mom because she needs her more than I do. My dog actually saved her life a few weeks ago by barking to wake my dad up and come in my moms room to find her seizing out of control. I’d rather my dog stay with her for that reason. They could really use this vacuum, because they desperately need a new one, but can’t afford it right now. They have 2 dogs and a cat.

I have five rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (two we found as strays and the third was adopted from a rescue). You can imagine we get a LOT of pet fur at our house. Add to that a daughter with butt-length hair. This vacuum sounds like it would be perfect for us!

I have cats and dogs. Most of them were strays that we rescued. Some were sick when we found them; one was missing an eye. Two kittens were on the very verge of death, but we nursed them back to health. They’re all healthy now, thankfully, after home and vet care.

I have 9 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat! I’d say a good vacuum is a must. We only have a few area rugs, carpetted stairs, and then the furniture. The furniture is definitely the worst for us because the cat likes to sleep on the tops of the chairs and the dogs sleep in the chairs.

I have one cat named Gizmo. We have had her since she was a few weeks old when we found her in a box beside our house along with her siblings..we left them there for a little bit to see if mom would come around but she never did so we took it upon ourselves to care for the baby kittens. Gizmo was the tiniest one out of the bunch, all of the other kittens got really sick and unfortunately didn’t make it..but tiny little gizmo kept on pushing and after a few days of hardly moving or eating she finally got her strength back up. Now at almost 2 years old she is an amazing cat and loves my kids, if either of my kids are crying she will run to their room and check on them. She is one of the best cats ever!

We have three wonderful cats in our family. CC is the oldest and is a sophisticated princess. She is also cuddly and quite easy going when she is not demanding for love or food. Cleo is our middle one and she communicates the most. She loves to cuddle in our bed and take up more room than necessary. She talks to the birds signing outside every morning- she thinks one day they will become her friends and maybe she can lure them to dinner. Cleo is also the most active and when she wants to play she is relentless- will sit in front of you with Puss N Boots eyes and meowing non-stop until you play with her. Then there is Audrey, she is my sweety’s cat and really wants to be glued to him all day every day. She is the smallest and looks like a kitten still. She has a tiny little meow and almost sounds like Dino from the Flintstones when her daddy is around and she needs attention from him. 🙂
