#SeeTheLight, It Is #RememberMeThursday

This is our first year participating in Remember Me Thursday and we couldn’t be more excited!

 Today is Remember Me Thursday®, where the world shines a light on all orphan pets in shelters and raises awareness of the life-saving significance of pet adoption.

It is also a time to light a candle to remember our own shelter rescues that have found forever homes and celebrate the joy they have brought to our lives

In 2017, people using #RememberMeThursday reached nearly 330 million people on social media.

As a first-year official partner, Remember Me Thursday sent me a goodie bag to help spread awareness. One of my favorite things is this comfy shirt!

They also sent me two catnip toys for the boys to play with.  The boys took to them right away.

They also include some signs and magnets to help me spread the word.

All of our cats have been adopted one way or another. Harley  was adopted from a family friend that had a stray cat give birth under her porch.  Jewel was adopted through Petsmart via a local rescue group.  And Oliver was stray we we fell in love with and couldn’t bear to see brought to an already overcrowded shelter.  If you want to know more about the cats you can read our About page.
Since it’s inception, Remember Me Thursday® has touched over 1 billion people across the world by advocating for pet adoption. Rescue pets have a profound impact on our lives and to remember them, we launched our annual Remember Me Thursday® contest to give back to the organizations who perform life-saving work!
