When the team at Michael Todd offered to send me a SONICLEAR for free to review, I couldn’t resist – It sounded wonderful!   When the package arrived I couldn’t wait to use it, but the first time you use it, it requires a 24 hour charge.  No big deal, I just used it the  next day.

To cleanse, wet your skin and the brush head with warm water, then you can apply cleanser to your skin or the brush head.  MICHAEL TODD offers  cleansers optimized for gentle daily use with SONICLEAR such as Honey and Oat Gentle Deep Pore Cleanser and Peppermint Wake-Up Daily Body Wash. SONICLEAR may also be used with exfoliating scrubs with soft, rounded particles such as Michael Todd True Naturals Jojoba Charcoal Facial Polish. They do not recommend use of SONICLEAR  with jagged exfoliating particles such as shells.

I really love that they include two brush heads – one smaller one for your face, and one larger one for the rest of your body, and the base automatically senses which head you have attached and adjusts the speed settings.  Each brush head has 3 different speeds.  I really love that it comes with an automatic timer that beeps and pauses for a second to let you know it is time to move to the next area of the face or body.

Another feature I love is that it is waterproof, so you can use it in the shower.  I love to use it on my legs to exfoliate them before I shave!  I also love using it on my knees, ankles and elbows as now that it is winter, they tend to get really dry.

I also had a really bad scratch on my wrist from when Oliver got outside at our new home.  It was bleeding pretty bad.  My skin takes a long time to heal, and I have scars all over. I have used the SONICLEAR to gently cleanse and exfoliate the area about every other day and it looks so much better! My skin had been very raised and rough after the scabs fell off, and now only a couple of spots are raised and the whole scratch is less “angry” red and more of a pink color.    Oliver had run past me as I was coming in with bags and I tried to grab him as he crossed the threshold but it actually scared him and he used his back leg to scratch me pretty bad.  He ran down our walk way, cut across the lawn, and that’s when Tony came out and said, ” Oliver get in the house NOW!”, and wouldn’t you know that cat turned around and ran back in the house with his tail between his legs!  We had only been in the house a few days, and I don’t think Oliver realized that door lead outside. We believe he became disoriented once outside and just didn’t know where to go until he heard Tony’s voice.  Now Oliver will look out the door, but if we go to open it, he runs away now, so, lesson learned on his part.
